Fall Skills Academy

• Starts the week after Labor Day

• 3-4 week sessions as the schedule allows

• 1st-3rd grades & 4th-6th grades will be paired together

• Goals of Fall Skills Academy

  • Introduce and emphasize fundamentals to all ages and ability levels

  • Create excitement about basketball

Competitive Season

• Competitive season will consist of 5-6 weeks of game

• The last week of games will be a double-elimination tournament for 4/5th, & 6th grades

Spring Team Skills & 3v3

• 1st-3rd grades & 4th-6th grades will be paired together

• Sessions will range from the mid-end of March to mid-end of April, depending on school schedule (3-4 weeks)

• Spring sessions will focus on team skills

  • Screens

  • Spacing

  • Passing

  • Cutting

• 3v3 introduced at the younger levels, with scrimmage type games

• 3v3 at the older level with teams set each week based on participating players
